Sreng Soriya is a visionary leader and educator committed to shaping the future of Cambodia’s educational landscape. As the President of Soriya Multilingual School (SMS) since October 1, 2021, she has dedicated her career to empowering young learners through innovative language education, preparing them to create meaningful positive change in their communities and beyond.

Under Ms. Soriya ’s leadership, SMS 's vision to become “the foremost global standard school in Cambodia.” She believes in delivering online education that transcends new technology methods by fostering personal growth and global awareness among students. As the owner of SMS, she works closely with a dynamic and dedicated team to realize this vision.

From 2021 to 2024, Ms. Soriya served as SMS ’s Provost and Chief Academic Officer, spearheading academic excellence and establishing SMS as a benchmark for multilingual education in the region. Her efforts have focused on:

  • Building a culture of innovation and collaboration among educators.
  • Integrating modern teaching methods and technologies to enhance student engagement. 
  • Expanding inter-school initiatives to promote cross-cultural understanding and learning. 

Teaching Experience:

Beyond her leadership roles, Ms. Soriya is a passionate educator with a profound love for language teaching. She has taught Chinese for over four years at Soriya multilingual School and served as a Chinese teacher at École d'Hôtellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule from 2022 to 2023. Her expertise and teaching approach have inspired countless students, instilling in them a passion for lifelong learning.

As President of SMS, Ms. Soriya oversees a broad spectrum of activities that ensure the school’s continuous growth and success. Her responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning & Leadership: Shaping long-term goals and aligning them with the school's mission and vision.
  • Study Program Development & Staff Management: Empowering and training staff to deliver exceptional educational experiences.
  • Academic Excellence: Establishing policies, managing quality assurance, and advancing learning practices.
  • Operations & Finances: Managing budgets, optimizing resources, and overseeing school operations. 
  • Global Partnerships & Customer Relations: Fostering international collaborations and maintaining strong relationships with students and parents.

Ms. Soriya believes that every student has the potential to achieve greatness. She often reminds her students:

Through her dedication and leadership, Ms. Soriya continues to illuminate the path toward a brighter, more empowered future for Cambodian youth. Her message to students is simple but powerful: “The light of a great life begins with you—keep striving, learning, and believing in yourself.
